Hello there! I'm Lily Tate...

I'm thrilled you've landed on my website! I am a student who is attending the Discipleship training school (DTS) at YWAM Harpenden, England from 18 September 2024.

This is a 6 month experience where I will grow deeper in my relationship with God and have the opportunity of exploring my calling.

I have been blessed to have grown up in a lovely conservative town in South Africa. My environment and my parents have been instrumental in forming the foundation of my faith in Christ. I gave my life to the Lord at the age of 7 and six years later I was baptised into Christ.

I love travelling and have always wanted to travel since I was a little girl. In a way I am living out that dream by sharin the gospel around the world whilst attending YWAM.

Photography lets me capture these moments. Whether it's a vibrant bird or a stunning sunset, each photo is a piece of time I can revisit. It's my way of freezing the memories that mean the most.

Knowing God

I am a journey of following God and gettig to know Him. Deepening my relationship with God is at the heart of my journey.

Making God Known

I’m passionate about serving The Lord and making Him known to others. My YWAM journey is my way of helping bring God to the nations.

Loving Others

I’m a big advocate for friendship in life. God designed us to be in relationship with one another and we need people to help us through the journey of life.

I am passionate about art, in my free time I love painting and drawing.
I have paraglided on Africa
I love taking pictures because it allows me to capture the things I love, and save it forever.

I play piano
My favorite book: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
Stand Up paddle boarding and being active is something I always look forward to.
